Albania will not suppress any more mussels dynamite

The Minister of Agriculture of the country Panariti collected on meeting of restaurateurs of Albania and fishers to ask them not to catch sea date and not to submit it at restaurants.

Sea date - a type of the mussels, one of the most popular and expensive dishes in Albania, but at present the catch of this species of mollusks is forbidden in many countries of Europe as during production of a mollusk the coastal zone as sea date lodges in rocks collapses, choosing hard-to-reach spots.

According to the minister one plate of a spaghetti with sea dates is equivalent to destruction of one square meter of underwater rocks, or one square meter of coral reeves.

Restaurateurs of Albania and dealers supported an initiative, and gave guarantees that will not buy fish and other seafood extracted by means of dynamite, writes Xinhua.
